Tommy's Diner -- Covid

To prepare to bring customers back in, we have created a list of policies and procedures to keep both you and our team safe.

Social Distancing:

  • Customers will check in with host
    • If there is a wait time, customers will be asked to stay in their vehicles or a secluded space outside until the table is ready
  • Payment will now be made at the table after service in place of the host station
    • This will aid in eliminating gathering in common spaces
  • All seating arrangements have been reconfigured to ensure the recommended 6ft distance

Elevated Cleaning Procedures:

  • Tables, chairs, and booths will all be sanitized thoroughly between each dining group
  • Restrooms will also be sanitized and maintained on an enhanced rotation
  • Staff members will be wearing masks and gloves at all times in the dining room
  • Every staff member will have to pass a wellness check that will strictly follow the Ohio Department of Health’s guidelines
  • Plexiglass has been installed between all booths to limit air contact between tables
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed throughout restaurant for customers

Disposable Items:

  • Paper menus will be distributed and discarded after initial use
  • Condiments will come in packets as we will keep the tables bare
  • Disposable cutlery also available upon request

Additional Rules and Recommendations:

  • Masks are not required, but strongly recommended for the safety of yourself and others
  • Gathering in common space is not permitted
  • Social distancing guidelines must be followed at all times
    1. Any customers not following the rules will be asked to leave along with the rest of their party
      • Groups may not exceed 8 people
    2. Parties will not be seated until everyone has arrived
